Indoor Season Highlights
We have completed another successful indoor season. The Combined Events Athletes started us off well in January, with the Youth and Senior athletes taking to the track in February, and finally our Bantam, Midget, and Youth athletes wrapping things up in March.
Syelis Brooks (Silver, U16 200m), Chase Canty (Silver, U18 3000m), Max Fazecash (Bronze, U18 1500m), Simona Kukuruzovic (Silver, U20 Pentathlon), and Cassandra Nono-Ganyo (Silver, U14 Shot Put) brought home medals from their Athletics Ontario Championships, and Chase Canty, Noah Costa, Ashley Maguire, and Emma Pegg earned their place in elite races across Michigan and the Spire Scholastic Showcase in Ohio.
We had countless personal best performances from athletes in all age groups even though our training was slightly disrupted by construction throughout the season. All of our athletes worked very hard and maintained their focus to produce excellent practices and performances! More highlights can be found below, including all top ten finishes in Ontario.
